  • What's coming up!

    April's now coming to a close, and what a busy month that was!!

    I had my first wedding cake of the year being created and delivered by in person to the Waterton Park Hotel in Wakefield, along with many other orders which were fulfilled.

    In May, I will be offering a delicious tray bake in and amongst my bespoke orders.  For more information on this offer, head on over to my Facebook page.  While there, have a look at some of my other creations which I am showcasing for you.

  • 2025 Orders Already

    Wow, orders for 2025 being taken already?  Yep, that’s right, I’ve received my first orders for 2025. With more in the pipeline, its never too early to get your order in for your special bespoke cake.

    I’m more than happy to help with your design and provide a quote for you, but please note, the quote is only valid for 48hrs and a deposit must be paid in this time (unless a longer timescale is agreed) to secure the booking, or, unfortunately, your booking will be cancelled.

Terms & Conditions

 

Before confirming your order, please read through our Terms & Conditions and print a copy for future reference.

 

 By placing an order, you agree to be legally bound by these T&C’s.

 

We reserve the right to refuse to accept any order at our discretion.

 

We reserve the right to add to and/or amend the T&C’s, or any part thereof, as and when necessary, and without prior notification.

 

Ordering/Payment

 

Nicci’s Cakes usually ask for your initial order request to be at least 14 days prior to the date the cake is required.  If an order is requested and accepted within the 14 days window, the full balance will become due immediately.

 

Any order will only be confirmed upon payment of the deposit/balance due.

 

For all other balances, payments outstanding should be made no later than 14 days prior to the date of collection unless otherwise agreed with Nicci’s Cakes.

 

The price quoted for the order will be the price payable.  Your order may not be amended or cancelled within 14 days of the arranged collection date, however, at our discretion, this period may be reduced to 7 days.

 

Any monies outstanding will immediately become due if any amendments or cancellations are made within this time period.  Any monies, including deposits already paid are non-refundable if cancelled within the timeframe set out above.

 

Deposits

 

All orders require a deposit which are both non-transferable and non-refundable. All deposits become due when the order has been placed or agreed by you.  Deposits can be paid by cash or bank transfer.

 

Collection

 

A time and date will be agreed for collection/delivery of your order.  If collection/delivery time needs to be changed, Nicci’s Cakes must be notified by telephone or email as soon as possible and at least 48 hours before either the new or previous collection time, whichever is the earlier.

 

On collection/delivery of your order, Nicci’s Cakes will advise of any non-edible elements of your cake.  It is your responsibility to ensure all recipients/consumers of the cake are made fully aware of these.

 

All collected orders are stored and transported at your own risk.  Nicci’s cakes will advise on both acceptable storage and transportation methods, however, Nicci’s Cakes are not responsible for any damage/spoilage once your order has been collected.

 

Non-Payments

 

A quote once provided, is valid for a maximum of 48 hours, unless a longer timescale is agreed with Nicci’s Cakes, at which point the deposit must be paid in order to secure the booking.  Failure to pay the deposit (within the 48 hours or at the agreed future date) will result in the booking being cancelled.

 

In the event that any payment is subsequently declined, the order will not be released or completed until alternative funding arrangements have been agreed and payment made in full.

 

Subsequent completion of the order will be subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.  Nicci’s Cakes accepts no liability for any loss whatsoever caused by non-delivery under these circumstances.

 

The customer will be responsible for the payment of any additional charges which have been incurred as a result of payment failure.

 

Cancellations/Refunds

 

As your order booking is reserved solely for you and decorations would have been made in advance, deposits paid are non-refundable. The balance will become due if the order is cancelled within 14 days of the delivery/collection date.  We may, at our discretion, reduce this period to 7 days. Prior to this a refund of any monies paid, less deposit, will be made.

 

All cancellations must be made in writing.

 

Any issues identified post-delivery/collection must be made immediately in writing, plus full cake and packaging returned within the 24-hour window after delivery / collection, for the issue to be investigated. 

 

It will be at the discretion of Nicci’s Cakes as to whether any refund will be made.

 

In the unlikely event that an order has to be cancelled by Nicci’s Cakes all monies paid will be refunded.

Allergies

 

Baked goods by Nicci’s Cakes are not allergy free. They may contain, or contain traces of, dairy, eggs, nuts, wheat, soya or other likely allergens.  It is your responsibility to ensure all recipients and consumers of the product are made fully aware of this information.

 

Nicci’s Cakes and will not be held responsible for any allergic reactions arising from our products.

 

By securing your order, and/or date with a paid deposit, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions set out above.
